Its too cold in the garage to work, besides our new baby is keeping me very busy!!!

Well that was last winter and this winter is coming up soon. I'm happy to announce that Gabriel is doing much better than my restoration project, but that fine with me, and his mom! Over the past several months I did manage to get a little work done on the rear of the car. I also went back to school, night, and took a full time job. You could say I'm a little busy, but I actually prefer it this way. I'm attending Boston Architectural Center on Newbury Street, Boston MA. In a few years I'll be an architect. This is officially my third career change and I think I'll stick with this one. I've always had an interest in the why and how building and structures stay up, and the meaning behind them. After years of thinking about going back to school, Jessica and I decided that now was a good a time as any. So last fall I started classes.

Anyhow, enough about me and more about the Jag.

This next series of photos shows the installation of the frame rails under the car, and the trunk pan and brace pieces. Thanks to Dan Scott of one of my recent careers for forming the sheet metal needed for this job.

I used a small bottle jack to hold the frame rail in placeA piece of channel iron can in real handy
The first one went in without a hitchHere I'm stitch welding then in up completely
