Coventry Cat
JANE maintains online files of every issue of the Coventry Cat since 2002. The Coventry Cat home page contains a cover shot of the current issue along with a list of current Cat advertisers, links to their ads, and links to their websites. Recent Events
JANE maintains online event reports of most events since 2002 including text descriptions and photo albums. These are accessible from the event home page. On this home page are links to lists of events either by year or by type of event. These will lead you to corresponding lists of events with links to their associated event reports. Classified Ads
This link displays the latest JANE classified ads. JANE classified ads (with optional photo) can be placed free of charge to full (non-Guest) JANE members. All classified ads are viewable by all internet browsers. JANE ads can be self-administered by any full member through the Member Pages navigation menu. Ads can also be placed via special 3-month Classified Ads Membership that is available online. To secure a 3-month Classified Ads Membership, first register for a free 3-month Guest membership and then go to your JANE personal Home Page and initiate a new classified ad. Your personal JANE home page is where you will be taken after most logins. It contains summary information about your membership in JANE and a link to your JANE profile that you can use to send that information to others outside of JANE. Login is required. Back
Renew
This provides a link for JANE members to renew their membership through PayPal. You can renew at any time during the year and your membership will be extended for 1 year from the prior expiration date. This menu item will appear only for Full Members of JANE. Login is required. Back

Delete My Login
This provides a means for members (Guest or Full) to remove themselves from JANE's registration system. If you select and acknowledge this election, all your JANE information will be deleted and your membership canceled. Login is of course required. Back
My Profile
This provides a link to your personal JANE Profile. This profile can include many items of personal information about you and your cars, including photos of yourself, your co-member, and up to 5 cars (see Upload Photos documentation). This information is used by the club for contacting you by mail and e-mail. It is also made available to other members through the JANE search facilities. Note that Guest members have profiles, and these profiles can be viewed and searched by Full members of JANE, but Guest members cannot view or search the profiles of others. Login is required. Back
Update Info
This provides a means for you to update your own profile information. Selecting this link will take you to a two-page information form with all of your current profile information and facilities for editing this information. Thus you can keep JANE up-to-date on your address, phone numbers, e-mail address, and car ownership. Get a new car? Other JANE members would love to know about it, so add it to your profile. Include pictures if possible (see Upload Photos documentation). Login is required. Back
Update Photos
You may have up to seven photos as part of your JANE Profile: Member, Co-Member, and Cars 1 through 5. This link will take you to the Upload Photo page that is used to upload or delete photos. Each of the seven photos has a unique position on the Upload Photos page and each position has a text window and two buttons. To select and upload a photo from your computer, you can either type the corresponding file name into the appropriate text window or click the Browse button. If you click the Browse button, a window will open showing the file folders on your computer. You can then browse through these folders until you find the file containing the photo you wish to upload. For many Windows users, photos default to the My Documents/My Photos folder. Once you locate the right file, select it and click Open button on the file form. The file window will close and the file name will then appear in the text window in the Upload Photos page. Then click the Upload button. The file will be uploaded to the JANE server and will then be a permanent part of your JANE Profile. Note that you can upload only one photo at a time from this page, so to upload multiple photos will require clicking on the Upload Photos menu item once for each photo. Login is required. Back
Change Password
This provides a means for you to change your password. When the Members Only portion of JANE's website was set up, all JANE members were assigned a password consisting of the first letter of their first name (capitalized) followed by the first 6 letters of their last name (initial letter capitalized). New members signing up via the online system were e-mailed an initial, randomly-generated password. Using this facility you can set your password to suit your own preferences. Note that passwords can be any combination of letters and numbers, but no spaces, special characters, or punctuation marks are permitted. Note that the password is case sensitive so if the password is Bob1, neither BOB1 nor bob1 nor bOb1, etc. will work. Login is required. Back
Change Login
This provides a means for you to change your login ID. When the Members Only portion of JANE's website was set up, all JANE members were assigned a login ID consisting of the first letter of their first name (capitalized) followed by the first 6 letters of their last name (initial letter capitalized). New members can select their own login if they join online. Login IDs can consist of any combination of letters and numbers, but no special characters or punctuation symbols are allowed. Note that the login process is not case sensitive so if the login ID is Bob1, BOB1, bob1, bOb1, etc. all will work OK. Back
File Classified Ad
This provides a means for you to enter your own classified ad into JANE's classified advertising section or to update or delete ads entered earlier. For a new ad you will get a form to be filled out that will generate a classified ad. The ad will appear immediately in the online classified ad listing (click here to see JANE's current classified ads). The ad will remain active until you remove it, so please remove out-of-date ads promptly. Note that the ad will also appear in the Coventry Cat beginning with the next issue after the ad is entered online.
Non-members can also file ads online. The first step is to sign up for a Guest account. After getting your password via e-mail, login and go to this menu entry. From there you will be asked to set up your ad and pay $15 through PayPal. The ad will run for three months in both the Coventry Cat and JANE's website.. Back
File Service Report
The JANE website offers Full Members the opportunity to share experiences with individual service companies and suppliers. After clicking this menu entry you will be presented with a form requesting information on a particular vendor. Part of the form requests a numerical rating of the establishment on a number of characteristics. Please provide a numerical rating on all those that apply and for which you have experience with this vendor. These numerical ratings will be averages with other reporters to form a box score for the establishment. There is also a place for free-form comments. These comments will be included anonymously in the vendor's profile. Back
Browse Car Pics
This allows you to browse through all of the car photos loaded on the site as part of members' profiles. The photos are organized by member and can be sorted my last name or by date of entry, with the newest entry first. This feature requires login and is available only to Full Members. Back

Service Reports
This allows you to browse through all of the Service Report information that has been filed by members. The page starts with a list of vendors having reports and an indication of their areas of specialty. This list then links to numerical summaries for each vendor and a listing of the comments (anonymous) filed for each vendor. This feature requires login and is available only to Full Members. Back
Search Members
This allows you to search the profiles of other members based on the contents of any specific field in the profile or across all fields in the profile. For example, you can search for other JANE members in your town or zip code, JANE members who own a specific kind of car, JANE members named 'Phil', etc. If you think of a search that the current searches won't handle, let me know at www.webmaster@j-a-n-e.org and I may be able to add it. This allows you to search the profiles of other members based on the state of residence. This feature requires login and is available only to Full Members. Back
